Upcoming Events

Every last Friday of the month, we are bringing a collective of resources to you as a healthcare practitioner in arts and health, a program manager at a Florida-focused nonprofit, or as an artist seeking to promote health and wellness through the arts.

Arts for Health Florida, in partnership with the University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine, present Artist Rounds. Artist Rounds are monthly peer supervision calls that will offer arts in health practitioners across the state and the country an opportunity to share best practices, challenges and meaningful experiences, and receive guidance from leaders in the field. Creative arts therapists, artists in healthcare, and anyone involved in the field of arts in health are all encouraged to participate.

The NOMAD Art Bus Project
November 17, 2017 @ 12:00 p.m.

Speaker: Carrie Boucher
The first session of our Arts for Healthy Communities webinar series will feature an exploration of the impactful NOMAD Arts Bus Project from the founder herself. She will share insight into successes and challenges experienced while launching the program.

More about Carrie Boucher: a visual artist who is always on the lookout for her next impossible project. Four years ago she returned to Tampa Bay and was concerned when she saw how budget cuts were affecting school art programs. She decided to do something about it, so she converted a retired bus into a mobile art room and took to the streets to get art education out into the community.
